Job Purpose
One of the oldest and most respected independent firms of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors in Yorkshire are looking to expand its team with the addition of an Audit and Accounts Senior. Working within a friendly and dynamic team you will become an integral member and contribute to the continued success of this forward thinking firm.
Key Responsibilities

Account preparation for small limited companies, sole traders and partnerships from source documents.

Plan, perform and complete audit assignments.

Familiarity with the latest auditing standards and developments is essential.

Complete corporation tax computations and returns

Work and travel around Leeds and Yorkshire
Skills and Experience
You will ideally have two to three years experience from an accountancy practice, be studying towards your ACA or ACCA qualifications. You will have experience of auditing and accounts preparation for SME’s, sole traders and partnerships. You will be capable of working independently and in a team, with good communication and IT skills.
IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and legal industry accounts experience would be advantageous but not essential.

The successful candidate will be self motivated, ambitious and professional.
