Business Development Executive

Our client have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join their team working in Business Development. The main focus of this role will be to generate new business for the company.
 

Our client has been established since 1984 and has grown to be a leading and trusted independent provider of managed print, document and IT services throughout the UK. This position is to be based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire covering the wider Yorkshire territory.

The Role

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and digital outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate terms and contracts with clients, ensuring favorable outcomes for both parties, and close sales effectively
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities for growth.

About You

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • You must have a previous track record in a similar role.
  • Previous experience and contacts in the Managed Print Industry are essential.
  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel to client sites as needed.
