1st Line Support Technician

Juice are working with a great client, who are looking for a well organised and efficient 1st Line Support Technician.

The role involves proactive management and troubleshooting of first-line incidents and requests. The position requires independent work handling tickets for review and resolution daily, with their support desk operating weekdays from 9am to 5pm. Tasks are assigned through a PSA platform and require a 1st line level of technical understanding to resolve the issues raised.



The Role

  • Location – Bradford BD1 (hybrid role model)
  • Confident 1st line position
  • Solving between 10-20 tickets daily, with positive feedback
  • Inbound tickets are ‘checked in’ within 15 minutes of arriving
  • Ticket ques worked in methodical order
  • Scripts and procedures utilised to help speed up work
  • Security procedures and vigilance is followed
  • Troubleshooting behind the scenes to minimise disruption
  • Projects/requests covered when required
  • Potential risks identified and mitigated
  • Presents clear communication
  • Friendly and professional manner
  • SOPs and guidance followed
  • Willingness to develop their skillset

About You

  • Experience in a 1st Line technical support position
  • Strong knowledge in Windows and Microsoft
  • Knowledge in group policy administration and active directory services
  • Basic network capabilities (DNS etc)
  • Remote device management skills
  • A keen level of attention to detail
  • A personable nature with ability to communicate technical concepts with non-technical audiences
  • Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in working with an MSP
  • Knowledge with Apple products and support
  • Exposure to Ubiquiti
  • Recognised accreditations (CompTIA, Microsoft Fundamentals)
  • Experience:
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • IT: 1 year (required)
