The Role
- Oversee the full lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring seamless execution.
- Drive performance improvements and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and plans.
- Ensure health and safety compliance on all project sites.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including valuations, invoices, and reports.
- Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to secure materials and resources.
- Resolve on-site challenges and ensure effective communication across teams.
- Conduct regular site inspections and manage the defect rectification process during handovers.
About You
- A motivated Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects.
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A leader with the ability to inspire and coordinate teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- An individual with excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Knowledgeable in industry regulations and health and safety protocols.
- Willingness to primarily work in the Yorkshire area, with occasional travel and overnight stays when required.
- SMSTS qualification is essential.
- Extensive experience in construction project management or building services.
- Background in carpentry, joinery, or hands-on construction roles (desirable).
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Qualifications in Building Studies, Construction or related fields.
