The Role

  • Castleford – Hybrid Working (3 days office / 2 days home)
  • Full-Time, Permanent
  • Salary: £28  + Sales Incentive Plan + Annual Profit Bonus
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm or 9:30am–6:00pm
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of existing customers
  • Ensure high levels of customer service across all touchpoints
  • Handle inbound enquiries and convert them into sales
  • Conduct outbound sales calls to generate new business
  • Revive dormant customer accounts and re-engage past clients
  • Negotiate pricing and process sales orders
  • Contribute to achieving the company’s wider sales development goals
  • Support with day-to-day sales administration tasks

About You

  • Demonstrable experience in business development or sales
  • Strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a confident, professional phone manner
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, complex working environment
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with CRM systems preferred
  • Team-oriented and adaptable
  • Industry experience in IT distribution, trade, or technical sales is desirable (training provided)
  • Strong work ethic and results-driven attitude
  • Passionate about delivering a great customer experience
  • Must be able to drive as the role will expand to meeting customers on site at some stage.
