The Role

  • Start hands-on by conducting fire door surveys to ensure compliance (full training provided)
  • Use a tablet to document survey findings and generate reports
  • Return to the office to produce quotations for remedial work identified during surveys
  • If the work is approved, return to site to carry out the necessary joinery tasks
  • As the role grows, step into a management role overseeing joiners and apprentices

About You

  • Proven experience with fire doors (installing or maintaining)
  • Confidence using digital tools like tablets for reporting
  • Attention to detail and a proactive, self-motivated mindset
  • A strong desire for career progression
  • A full UK driving licence (preferred)
  • Licence/Certification
  • CSCS (required)
  • Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required)
