Our client is a leading global provider of innovative industrial automation solutions. With a commitment to excellence, they invent, design, manufacture, install, and support cutting-edge automation systems that empower clients to enhance their manufacturing processes.

They are currently seeking a Goods in Coordinator to join the team.

The Role

  • Ensuring all incoming purchase orders are processed accurately and efficiently to the
  • companies’ standards and priorities
  • To accurately record all transactions using the in-house IT system
  • To confidently liaise with multiple teams to locate manufactured parts
  • To be able to provide support to various departments in an agile manufacturing
  • environment
  • Moving equipment / products around our premises as requested
  • Assist in unloading deliveries as and when required
  • Adapt to a variety of tasks which could include operating machinery and other general
  • duties
  • General daily upkeep of the warehouse
  • Assist other personnel with key tasks as and when requested
  • Ensure yard area is maintained and kept as a safe and tidy environment
  • Ensure the shop floor working environment is clean and is conducive to product and
  • service quality
  • Comply with the Management System requirements for Health and Safety ensuring
  • others work to company and policies and procedures
  • Comply with Risk Assessments, Method Statements and the Health and Safety
  • Management System
  • Ensure compliance with the management systems requirement for the Environment
  • and Quality by working to company policies and procedures
  • Carry out any duties as and when requested by the Progress & Goods in Manager

About You

  • Good computer analytical skills
  • Working knowledge and general awareness of health and safety issues
  • Confident with good communication skills
  • Able to absorb information and prioritise workload with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Team-player and ability to work on own initiative
  • Attention to details
  • Experience in an engineering environment preferred
  • Counterbalance FLT License
