Health & Safety Consultant

Juice Personnel are delighted to be working alongside a local community foundation to recruit a Health & Safety Consultant to join their team.

You will be confident individual with excellent communication skills and be able to engage effectively with clients in a wide range of sectors. Due to the nature of this role driving between sites around Yorkshire and the office bases in Goole and Bradford is required.

This is a diverse and interesting role for anyone with a passion for health & safety. In addition to supporting our own staff with health and safety. We also have a wide range of clients across different work sectors whom we support on a health & safety consultancy basis.

The Role

  • Support and actively participate in development and implementation of health & safety to both existing clients and within our organisation
  • Conducting site inspections, audits and providing reports
  • Carrying out risk assessments and method statements for company projects.
  • Carrying out toolbox talks and delivering health and safety training
  • Maintaining good relationship with our retained clients and offering them health & safety support services in line with their contracts
  • Keep abreast of changes to health & safety legislation and the implementation of these changes within our organisation and to clients
  • Assistance with the control of sub-contractors in line with health & safety legislation. 
  • Investigation of Accidents and incidents

About You

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a health & safety role, preferably in the construction sector
  • A sound knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015
  • Excellent times management skills and the ability to schedule your own workload.
  • Be a member of IOSH, or willing to become a member
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong team working skills.
  • Full driving licence


  • 28 days per year including bank holidays
  • Mileage expenses will be paid for business miles
