The Role
- Plan and implement digital and traditional PR initiatives, content strategies, and online community management for multiple clients across a range of industries in line with clients’ business goals.
- Research your clients’ target media thoroughly and regularly, as well as influencers, and maintain a database of online and offline contacts.
- Build excellent relationships with key media and influencers by talking to them regularly and tailoring your material to meet their specific needs. Be tenacious when dealing with the media. Have confidence in your client and story and deal convincingly with resistance.
- Explore every avenue – the best route isn’t always the obvious one. Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage content.
- Help develop, plan, and implement influencer campaigns.
- Produce and edit copy for a variety of content, including press releases, features, blogs, e-shots, and award entries. Write all material—whether for internal use, journalists, clients, websites, or third parties—to the very highest standard, ready to issue. Proof-read everything you issue and have someone else proof it too. Nothing must go out with a mistake.
- Provide end-to-end social media campaign management from initial research through to on-going campaign management, optimisation against KPIs, and reporting. Plan out monthly social media activity and content calendars, and create, curate, and manage proactive social media brand content, including text, audio, visual, and multimedia formats.
- Maintain a strong understanding of key analytical and market intelligence tools such as Google Analytics/Console, ensuring analysis and insights are drawn from these tools to maximise the delivery of client campaigns.
- Apply expertise in leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance communication strategies, drive media engagement, and optimise campaign effectiveness while staying up to date with the latest AI trends and innovations.
- Manage and oversee the work of junior team members.
- Ensure that objectives are in place across all campaigns and that these are understood and agreed with each client; learn to question what you are doing and how it relates to your clients’ objectives.
- Become familiar with the client’s offering, the people within the business, and their competitors. Ensure that knowledge and understanding of the vertical markets served by your clients is maintained and developed on an ongoing basis.
- Review the account regularly to ensure that the campaign continues to meet objectives and, with the client’s consent, adjust accordingly. Within the context of strategy, demonstrate a creative approach.
- Work with the Account Director (AD) to put together compelling and well-thought-out plans for new initiatives for existing clients.
- Work across internal teams to collaborate on integrated campaigns, creative ideas, and strategies.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness to recognise new opportunities to expand the account.
- Be highly organised, punctual, and manage time efficiently. Prioritise your work and meet all deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Maintain a smart and clean appearance.
- Be enthusiastic with a flexible approach.
- Schedule regular client meetings, provide written agendas, and deliver comprehensive contact reports within 48 hours of all meetings.
- Ensure timely and accurate client reporting on the performance of your client accounts. Use the right metrics, deliver robust insights, and provide clear actions that relate directly to achievement against agreed objectives.
- Follow internal sign-off procedures.
- Share all coverage you generate with your clients.
- Be the first point of contact for day-to-day business on your key accounts. Be knowledgeable, authoritative, and confident in your work while staying friendly, down-to-earth, and approachable.
- Be able to run a client meeting with skill and confidence.
- Treat every client as precious—go out of your way to achieve outstanding results for them. Treat them as partners with whom you can achieve a common goal but have respect for them and be prepared to act for them in all circumstances. Aim to never lose an account.
- Support other members of the team and assist your Account Directors in other tasks as required.
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure there is comprehensive management of client accounts. Let the team know if you see anything that relates to their accounts or could be useful.
- Provide sound, well-thought-through advice that you know will work. Know all the PR tools available and when it’s appropriate to use them.
- Act in a professional manner and as an ambassador for the company at all times, both in and out of work.
- Have a desire to continue learning about PR, social media, and digital trends and developments, with the aim of expanding your skillset.
- Attend relevant training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge within this role.
- Participate in your own personal appraisals.
- Actively pass on your knowledge and experience to more junior members of the team.
- Take criticism well—act positively on it and treat it as a learning opportunity.
About You

- Deliver end-to-end social media campaign management, including content planning and execution.
- Have experience planning influencer campaigns and managing client accounts effectively.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
How much will it cost for you to find me a job?
It’s an age-old myth that recruitment agencies charge candidates. Our services to candidates are completely free of charge. We offer CV writing, career advice, interview preparation (and more), and we don’t charge you a penny!
-
Can I register with more than one agency at a time?
Yes, absolutely, and we recommend you do so to ensure you’re getting your name out there. What we do ask is that you’re honest with both parties. Keep everyone informed of all your job activities, and there should be no issues in doing this.
-
Why should I register with Juice Personnel instead of just finding my own job?
Juice Personnel is a reputable recruitment agency with over 60 years of combined professional experience among our consultants. Our in-depth market knowledge is second to none, and our links with local businesses cover the whole of West Yorkshire, giving us access to hundreds of available opportunities. We will fully manage your application and can offer advice, guidance, or a friendly chat should you need us to!
-
I’ve applied for a vacancy online. Does this mean you’ve sent my CV to your client?
No, no and no! We pride ourselves on meeting every single candidate we work with. Any recruiters worth their salt will do the same! It’s our professional duty to ensure that we match the right people to the right business, and there is no way we can do this without meeting you first. We also NEVER send your details anywhere without getting your consent first.
-
I’ve sent my CV to you and haven’t heard anything. Why is this?
We receive hundreds of CVs daily, so it’s physically impossible to reply to every candidate. We reach out to as many people as possible, but we state in our adverts that if we haven’t contacted you within 48 hours, you can assume your CV wasn’t shortlisted. If in doubt – pick up the phone. We’re always happy to talk about recruitment.
