We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Business Partner to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with Regional Managers to deliver a proactive quality assurance service, driving services toward outstanding quality standards. Your efforts will ensure the provision of person-centred care and support across all services.

The Role
- Salary Up to £44,446.56 DOE per annum + car allowance £4700
- 35 Hours per week Monday to Friday
- Location: North of England, including services in Scotland
- This is a remote role with regular touch points and an average of four in-person service visits per month across the North and Scotland
- Must be able to drive
- Conduct regular oversight and analysis of quality within designated services across your region, utilizing various methodologies to assess and identify risks.
- Develop agreed priorities and plans to assess the quality of services.
- Visit all designated services on a schedule agreed upon with the Regional Manager to ensure standards are maintained.
- Produce timely reports outlining levels of compliance and key areas for improvement following quality assurance visits.
- Provide practical guidance and assistance to improve quality in areas visited and in your areas of expertise to operational managers.
- Collaborate with operational managers to devise updated ways of working to improve quality.
- Gather, evaluate, and analyse data relating to quality measures using systems like Datix to improve quality.
- Generate intelligence regarding services to identify assurance and any threats to achieving outstanding quality levels.
- Ensure that any identified risks to statutory requirements are actively managed in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders.
- Work closely with Regional Managers to develop pre-visit plans targeting specific areas of identified risk.
- Adopt a 'critical friend' and 'coaching' approach to foster productive relationships with Service Managers.
- Encourage services to innovate, ensuring good practices are shared and successes celebrated throughout the organization.
- Champion the involvement of service users throughout the quality improvement process.
About You
- Qualification in a quality improvement-related field or equivalent skills within another qualification.
- Educated to Level 5 NVQ or equivalent in a Health & Social Care-related subject.
- Level 5 Diploma in Management or equivalent management experience, including quality improvement.
- Registered Managers Award (Level 4).
- Professional qualification in Health & Social Care, Nursing, Social Work, or an allied field.
- Expertise in measuring improvements in complex systems.
- In-depth knowledge of statutory requirements for the Care sector, healthcare regulations, and guidance.
- Ability to analyse complex data and investigate problems to develop a range of solutions.
- Experience as a Registered Care Home Manager with one of the UK regulators (CQC/CIW/CIS).
- Experience operating at a senior level with other senior managers across various functions.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, with the ability to meet the travel requirements of the post.
- Willingness to travel to any of our service users around the UK and stay away overnight when required.
- Willingness to visit services, including evenings and weekends when agreed.
