Our Client in Barnsley, South Yorkshire supply software and hardware to 1 in 3 UK local authorities for management of waste and recycling.  With thousands of mobile and in-cab systems in daily operation and a rapidly growing client base they are an established leader, committed to delivering exceptional service and support.

They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the sales and finance functions, ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes, and maintaining strong relationships with their clients.

The Role

  • They company are happy for this role to be filled as a full-time opportunity but are also happy to receive applications for 25hours per week across 5 days. This opens up the opportunity to people not looking full-time work due to other commitments.
  • Salary:
  • £25K full-time (pro rata for 25hrs)
  • Assist the sales team in managing quotations, contracts and client communications.
  • Process sales orders and ensure accurate and timely correspondence with relevant parties
  • Maintain and update customer records on our CRM systems.
  • Prepare weekly sales reports for management.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks as needed.

About You

  • Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
