Service Desk Analyst

We are looking to recruit a Service Desk Analyst. In this role, the candidate will report directly to the Support Desk Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive company during an exciting period of growth and to become an integral, valued member of a dynamic team.

The Role

  • Provide 1st line support to the customer base for software, hardware and support
  • services
  • Offer support to customers cross entire product portfolio including Avaya IP
  • Office, Gamma Horizon and RingCentral UCaaS, WLR3, fibre ethernet services and
  • broadband connectivity
  • Provide operational and administrative support to the Technical Services Team
  • Take customer support calls and log tickets on Microsoft Dynamics CRM system
  • Triage customer faults and engage troubleshooting activities, escalate to supplier
  • support or assign to a Technical Services Engineer as appropriate
  • Take ownership of customer support tickets to ensure a prompt and pro-active
  • response
  • Help with stores and hardware stock levels
  • Assist with organising equipment delivery to customers and suppliers
  • Ad-hoc support will also be required from time to time with other areas of the operations
  • team and across the company, such as: provisioning, sales support, mobiles and billing

About You

  • Excellent customer service skills, understanding that the customer is at the forefront of
  • Everything they do
  • An interest and desire to work in ICT and Telecoms
  • Comfortable with speaking to customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Enthusiasm and aptitude for logical problem solving
  • A desire for self-improvement and to progress a career in engineering
  • Strong self-starter, self-motivated and the ability to work pro-actively under your own initiative with the goal of achieving the very best outcome for customers
  • Have great verbal, listening and written communication, as well as relationship and rapport building skills
  • Good IT Skills, Microsoft office suite components
  • Experience with troubleshooting network and connectivity faults, as well as SIP/VoIP
  • telephony would be an advantage
