Trainee Assembly Operative

Juice are working with a well-established company in Ossett. Due to growth and expansion, they are looking for a Trainee Assembly Operative to work with busy manufacturing and assembly team.

The purpose of this role is to ensure the seamless execution of order fulfilment by overseeing the accurate preparation of component parts, the efficient manufacturing and assembly of products, and the effective packaging and dispatch of orders. This contributes directly to high levels of customer satisfaction and the overall operational success of the business.

The Role

  • Safe and accurate operation of MFC woodworking machinery (full training will be given), including loading & unloading
  • Assembly of furniture items (cabinets, drawers etc)
  • Supporting other team members on other machinery from time to time
  • Following a defined work flow, as set by supervisor
  • Working with MFC wood in a busy furniture manufacturing business
  • Placing finished goods in pre-defined locations, via manual handling
  • Unloading, checking and storing inbound deliveries
  • Observing all health and safety rules and procedures

About You

  • At least 1 year of experience in a production or warehouse environment
  • FLT licence (preferred)
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
