Our client, a well-established and rapidly expanding IT distribution business, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead their busy warehouse and facilities team.

The Role

Location: Castleford
Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000 + Annual Company Profit Bonus
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30–18:30, Friday 08:30–17:30
Manage daily warehouse operations including Goods-In, storage, order fulfilment, dispatch, and returns
Ensure accurate stock control using WMS and regular audits
Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Optimise warehouse layout and productivity
Oversee building, infrastructure, equipment and contractor management
Maintain compliance with safety, security and environmental regulations
Develop and enforce Health & Safety procedures and risk assessments
Lead, motivate and develop warehouse & facilities staff
Recruit and onboard new team members
Set performance targets and deliver regular reviews
Produce operational reports and identify cost-saving opportunities
Work closely with internal teams, logistics partners and suppliers

About You

Strong background managing end-to-end warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment
Leadership and team development experience
Proficiency with WMS and inventory systems
Excellent organisational and analytical skills
Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
Ability to build relationships across multiple departments
Budget awareness and cost control experience

NEBOSH / IOSH qualifications desirable
