Our client, a well-established and rapidly expanding IT distribution business, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead their busy warehouse and facilities team.

The Role
- Location: Castleford
- Full-Time, Permanent
- Salary: £40,000 + Annual Company Profit Bonus
- Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30–18:30, Friday 08:30–17:30
- Manage daily warehouse operations including Goods-In, storage, order fulfilment, dispatch, and returns
- Ensure accurate stock control using WMS and regular audits
- Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Optimise warehouse layout and productivity
- Oversee building, infrastructure, equipment and contractor management
- Maintain compliance with safety, security and environmental regulations
- Develop and enforce Health & Safety procedures and risk assessments
- Lead, motivate and develop warehouse & facilities staff
- Recruit and onboard new team members
- Set performance targets and deliver regular reviews
- Produce operational reports and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Work closely with internal teams, logistics partners and suppliers
About You
- Strong background managing end-to-end warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership and team development experience
- Proficiency with WMS and inventory systems
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
- Ability to build relationships across multiple departments
- Budget awareness and cost control experience
- Ideal Candidate:
- A confident leader with a proactive and hands-on approach
- Passionate about driving efficiency and operational excellence
- Able to influence and motivate teams to achieve results
- Comfortable introducing new processes and technology
- NEBOSH / IOSH qualifications desirable
