Woodplant Production Operative

Juice are working with a well-established company in Ossett. Due to growth and expansion, they are looking for a Woodplant Production Operative to work with busy manufacturing and assembly team.

The purpose of this role is to ensure the seamless execution of order fulfilment by overseeing the accurate preparation of component parts, the efficient manufacturing and assembly of products, and the effective packaging and dispatch of orders. This contributes directly to high levels of customer satisfaction and the overall operational success of the business.

The Role

Operate the beam saw safely and accurately, including loading and unloading materials
Occasionally assist team members with other machinery, such as the edge bander
Adhere to the workflow guidelines established by the supervisor
Handle MFC wood as part of the production process
Manually place finished goods in designated locations
Unload, inspect, and store incoming deliveries
Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures

About You

At least 1 year of experience in a production or warehouse environment
Previous experience operating beam saws, edge banders, CNC machines, or similar equipment
FLT licence (preferred)
Strong verbal communication skills
Positive attitude
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
