community engagement 2024

juice personnel's 2024 plan to support our local community!

Since our beginnings way back in 2003, our business has always supported the local community in as many ways as possible.

We have always had the mindset that as a small business, we want to support and engage as much as we can and we feel that by working alongside many other community initiatives, we're 'giving back' just that little bit.

In past years, we have sponsored many grass root teams from Football to Rugby League with this year being no different. Our team of choice are budding gymnastics, PANACHE and with our sponsorship, they're hoping to compete in Gran Canaria in November.

We've been supporters of Wakefield Hospice since 2009 and Advocates since 2017. Our business has raised over £30,000 in total, and this has been possible by our team taking part in charity events and fundraisers, being sponsors of the legendary Sports Dinner and volunteering days which, we all love being involved with.

Over the last 21 years, we've been involved in a number of events and in 2022 and 2023, our business was recognised in the We are Wakefield business awards by being shortlisted for the Outstanding Community Engagement award. Sadly, we didn't win but that doesn't mean we won't continue with our community engagement, and furthermore to this, we are excited to announce our new 'Commitment to Community' pledge.

Our Commitment to Community will not only continue to support local charities , education and sporting initiatives, but we have decided that we will also pledge to offer 2 days voluntary service per month within our community - giving our time as well as our donations.

We are also delighted and excited to annouce that we are the first Wakefield Business to have signed up to the Prosper Wakefield partnership scheme. More to come on this shortly......
