Our Client were established in November 2019. They install commercial solar, and EV charging infrastructure throughout the UK and they are now looking to hire a full-time compliance officer.

They need an individual who is organised, competent with Microsoft and can communicate effectively with staff while implementing compliance policies and procedures. The role would suit someone with a background implementing ISO procedures within a installation / subcontract environment.

The Role

  • Reviewing policies and procedures
  • Oversee the Quality Control system
  • Log and maintain compliance activities, reports and evaluations
  • Reporting and evaluation of non-conformances
  • Improvement of processes and controls
  • Identify compliance risks
  • Checking contractor competency
  • Reporting accidents and near misses
  • Maintaining the COSHH register
  • Distribution and tracking of PPE
  • Monitor new health, safety and environmental laws and regulations
  • Conduct both the internal and external audits

About You

  • Maths and English GCSEs are essential
  • At least 1 year experience in administration is essential
  • At least 1 year experience in compliance or a similar role is essential
  • Competent with Microsoft Office is essential
  • Experience of carrying out internal audit is preferred
  • Qualifications and/or experience with NERS, NAPIT, ISO, MCS or HIES certifications are preferred · Health and safety experience is preferred
