The Role

  • Run a caseload of sale and purchase cases, to include freehold, leasehold and Newbuild
  • Undertake required due diligence on each case
  • Conduct title checks and raise enquiries
  • Prepare property reports to Clients
  • Prepare search reports to Clients
  • Deal with exchange of contracts, signing the file off
  • Deal with legal completion, signing the file off
  • Deal with sale enquiries
  • Check Mortgage Offers
  • Ensure relevant matters are reported to Lenders
  • Manage the resource of your Assistant
  • Ensure effective communication with your clients and third parties
  • Ensure a clear handover is provided to post completion
  • Source and action indemnity policies where required
  • Ensure all additional services are correctly billed on each case
  • Achieve completion target
  • Ensure good service is provided to Clients
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out within internal and external Service Levels
  • Ensure correct billing on each case

About You

  • To be a team player
  • Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy within your work
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • To demonstrate a positive and can-do attitude
  • Follow internal processes and procedures
  • A bachelor's degree in law (LLB) or equivalent qualification
