IT Manager

Juice are working with a great client who has an amazing presence within their industry. They are looking for a well organised and efficient IT Manager.

The IT Manager will be responsible for leading the IT department, developing, and implementing IT strategies, and ensuring the security and reliability of the IT systems. This role involves managing the IT team, overseeing IT projects and initiatives, and collaborating with other departments to support the organisation’s overall goals and objectives.

The Role

  • Lead and manage the IT department, including hiring, onboarding, training, and evaluating staff
  • Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support the organisation's goals and objectives
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems, to ensure optimal performance and uptime
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications
  • Ensure the security and reliability of our IT systems by implementing best practices and industry standards
  • Manage IT budgets, including forecasting, budgeting, and allocating resources for IT projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address IT needs and requirements
  • Lead IT projects from conception to completion, including planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies related to IT security and data privacy
  • Represent the IT department in meetings with senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Stay current on cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements to the organisation's security posture
  • To ensure that all core duties detailed above are delivered successfully.
  • Responsible for the Health and Safety of yourself and those around you. You will ensure all H&S policies and practices are adhered to and escalated in the correct way
  • Act in a way that does not subject any other employees, potential employees, workers, or clients to direct or indirect discrimination, harassment, bullying or victimisation
  • Ensure that GDPR and confidentiality protocols are always complied with
  • Conduct yourself in line with Company standards in order to maintain the Company’s integrity

About You

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organisation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically, creatively, and independently to solve issues
  • Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, systems administration, and network security
  • Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects and initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skillsBachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or equivalents
  • Experience of working in an ISO accredited Company
  • Experience of working with bespoke systems
  • Knowledge of SAGE/COINS ERP systems
