The government announced in november a

national living wage increase

Will take place in April 2024. The increase will kick in from the 1st April 2024 and will see a welcomed increase across all pay rates as detailed below. Please also note that the age for the NLW to kick in has also dropped back to 21 years of age.

National Living Wage (21 years and over) £11.44 per hour

18-20 year olds £8.60 per hour

16-17 year olds £6.40 per hour

The current national living wage is currently sat at £10.42 per hour so the new rates will benefit full time workers by almost £2000 per year.

We will be advising all of our clients who will need to make these changes over the course of the next couple of weeks to make sure that our temporary workers are all in line with any relevant pay changes.
