Bookkeeper

Juice are working with a new client based in Grimsby, providing essential bookkeeping services across a range of industries.

The Role

  • Providing a bookkeeping service for a wide range of clients, including sales, purchase, and nominal ledger maintenance/processing.
  • Bank reconciliations: Ensuring accurate records by matching transactions with bank statements.
  • VAT return preparation: Completing VAT returns and submitting them in line with HMRC regulations.
  • Advising clients on the use of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
  • Communicating with clients: Managing client queries and building strong relationships.
  • Preparing reports: Producing regular financial reports for clients to review their business performance.

About You

  • Strong experience in managing ledgers and preparing reconciliations.
  • Confidence with accounting software, such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
  • Customer service experience: The ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and effectively manage their needs.
  • Ability to work independently: Capable of working to strict deadlines without supervision.
  • AAT Level 4 qualification preferred. However, if not qualified to this level, the right candidate should be qualified by experience.
  • Organised, friendly, and reliable.
  • Has great communication skills.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn and develop within the role.
