Lettings Inspector

Our client is a leading property management and real estate agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to both landlords and tenants. With a strong focus on professionalism, integrity, and client satisfaction.

They are currently seeking a Lettings Inspector to join their team and assist in maintaining the high standards of rental properties. As a Lettings Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting regular inspections of rental properties to ensure they are well-maintained and comply with all relevant regulations and standards.

The Role

  • Permanent role, Full Time
  • Monday to Friday – 9 till 5.30pm
  • Saturdays 1 in 4 – 9am to 1pm
  • Salary up to £25k per annum, less if not experienced  
  • Location: Horbury   
  • Must be able to drive and have own vehicle
  • Conducting regular inspections of rental properties to assess their condition and identify any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Documenting inspection findings and preparing detailed reports for landlords and property managers.
  • Coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure any necessary repairs or maintenance work is carried out promptly.
  • Providing feedback and recommendations to landlords on how to improve the condition and value of their properties.
  • Ensuring that all inspections are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal requirements.

About You

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the real estate or property management industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing rental properties.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to various properties.
