Part-Time Accounts Assistant

Juice Personnel are currently working with a growing business, who are seeking a Part-Time Accounts Assistant.

As a Part-Time Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the finance function to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You will handle invoicing, payment chasing, and account reconciliations, as well as assist with financial reporting and VAT preparation.

The Role

  • Issue invoices and chase outstanding payments
  • Process bills and receipts accurately
  • Reconcile the bank account regularly
  • Assist with preparing financial reports
  • Ensure accounts are accurate and up to date for VAT submissions
  • Use Xero accounting software confidently
  • Learn and use CurrentRMS for invoicing (training provided)
  • Maintain accurate records and support general finance administration

About You

  • Proficient in using Xero (essential)
  • Confident with numbers and financial processes
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills for liaising with clients and suppliers
  • Previous bookkeeping or accounts experience is highly desirable
