An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Showroom & Warehouse Assistant to join a well-established flooring business based in Wakefield.
This Showroom & Warehouse Assistant role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied role combining customer service, sales support and warehouse duties. You will be responsible for supporting customers in the showroom, assisting with deliveries and ensuring goods are received, checked and stored correctly.
The successful candidate will be confident dealing with customers, physically fit for manual handling tasks and able to provide a high level of service in a busy environment.

The Role
- Welcome and assist customers in the showroom
- Provide excellent customer service and support with product enquiries
- Assist with sales enquiries and customer orders
- Receive incoming deliveries and complete quality checks
- Check products are correct and meet customer requirements
- Load and unload deliveries safely
- Move and organise stock within the warehouse
- Maintain an organised and tidy showroom and warehouse environment
- Support the wider team with general warehouse and operational duties
About You
- Previous customer service or sales experience is essential
- Confident communicating with customers face-to-face and over the telephone
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
- Good attention to detail when checking deliveries and stock
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Experience within flooring, interiors, trade or a similar industry would be advantageous but not essential
