The Role
- Manage the day-to-day running of the warehouse and dispatch departments
- Lead, organise and develop warehouse supervisors and operatives
- Ensure safe, efficient and accurate receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of goods
- Implement and maintain a clear warehouse KPI score card
- Monitor productivity, service performance and order accuracy
- Run daily operational reviews and team briefings
- Optimising warehouse layout and product locations
- Improving pick-flow and travel efficiency
- Implementing visual management and operational performance boards
- Maintain strong inventory discipline across the warehouse
- Ensure correct product storage and stock rotation
About You
- Lead by example with a strong work ethic and high personal standards
- Experience in leading warehouse team of 15-30 operatives
- Experience in implementing operational improvements within a warehouse
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to analyse operational problems and implement practical solutions
