Accounts Administrator

We are recruiting an Accounts Administrator to support the accounts and commercial teams within a well-established construction and precast manufacturing business. This Accounts Administrator role is ideal for someone with strong finance administration skills who enjoys variety and taking ownership of day-to-day accounts tasks.

You’ll join a supportive SME environment where accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvement are valued, with training provided to help you succeed as an Accounts Administrator.

The Role

  • Sales ledger, purchase ledger, and credit control duties
  • Matching customer payments and monitoring overdue accounts
  • Processing supplier invoices and preparing payment runs
  • Reconciliations, VAT and CIS posting
  • Month-end finance support and reporting
  • Maintaining accurate finance and CRM records
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams

About You

  • Experience in accounts administration, finance assistant, or similar SME role
  • Knowledge of purchase ledger and sales ledger processes
  • Experience with accounting software (Xero desirable)
  • Strong Excel skills and numerical accuracy
  • Organised, proactive, and detail-focused
  • Comfortable working in a busy finance and construction environment
