Our client, a well-established company, is actively seeking a dedicated Delivery Planner to join their thriving delivery planning team in Wakefield.

The Role

  • Temporary role – 4 weeks
  • Hours – Monday to Friday (45 hours a week) 8am till 5:30 pm- 30 mins dinner break
  • Salary £12.05 p/h (£28 200 p/a)
  • Location – Wakefield
  • Position start date – 6th January 2025
  • Liaising with customers & stores to schedule direct deliveries in accordance with the delivery schedule
  • To handle all customer queries and questions regarding delivery
  • Track and update daily routing plans and monitor issues to ensure we achieve deliveries within legislation to company standards
  • To support the Transport Manager and other members of the team when required
  • Help to deliver all transport movements
  • Maintain level of service in line with customer requirements
  • React to delays efficiently and effectively ensuring that service levels are maintained
  • General day-to-day office duties
